Friday, November 15, 2024

YS Sharmila, the state president of the Congress party, has spoken out against the NDA government in Andhra Pradesh, highlighting her distinct approach. She criticized the Chandrababu government for neglecting the promises made since it took office. Recently, while addressing the issue of unemployment, Sharmila slammed the government for failing to address the difficulties faced by job seekers, asserting that their concerns have been brushed aside. Additionally, she accused the coalition government of showing a lack of attention towards the APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission).

YS Sharmila condemned the government’s actions, claiming they are treating the lives of unemployed individuals like a game. She pointed out the shameful fact that the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has been without a chairman for four months, which she stated is unprecedented in the country’s history. Sharmila expressed her dismay at this lack of leadership, emphasizing that it reflects poorly on the commission. She also accused the government of engaging in “clean-up politics,” suggesting that it is sacrificing the interests of the unemployed in the process.
And also criticized the government for focusing on white papers while failing to enhance the commission. She emphasized that without a chairman, no new exam notifications can be issued. Sharmila expressed her frustration over the absence of examination schedules for previously announced notifications and highlighted the uncertainty regarding the rescheduling of postponed Group 1 and Group 2 exams. She condemned the government’s lack of accountability and urged for immediate measures to address these urgent issues.
Still now 21 exams are pending under the APPSC. She urged Chief Minister Chandrababu to take immediate action to support job seekers in the state and called for the swift appointment of an APPSC chairman.
