YSRCP president and former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has strongly condemned the arrest of film actor Posani Krishna Murali by the Andhra Pradesh police last night in a case registered under the Obulavaripalli police station limits of Annamaya district. He consoled Posani’s wife Kusumalatha on the phone on Thursday and reassured her that the party will stand by their family in this hour of crisis.
He lamented that the coalition government is acting anarchically and that people and God are watching everything. He assured that the party will provide legal assistance to Posani. He said that senior lawyers have already been entrusted with responsibilities. He asked Posani’s wife to be courageous in difficult times. Jagan said that the autocratic rule in the state will not continue for a long time.
Meanwhile, Mines and Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra made it clear that there will be no excuse for anyone who posts inappropriate posts about girls on social media. Speaking on the arrest of Posani, he said that Posani was arrested legally and that no one in the state will forget the way he spoke in the past.
He asks that if he has a mouth, can he speak as he pleases? He said that Dharma will punish everyone who behaves unrighteously and wickedly. The minister was furious that Posani spoke and abused Chandrababu,Naidu, Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh as he pleased, and also spoke very disgustingly about the girls in the house.
Ravindra made it clear that the coalition government will move forward in a democratic manner. If they resort to vindictive politics like the previous government and want to implement the Red Book constitution, he said they would have sent everyone inside jails within two months of coming to power. The legal process will take its own course, he added. Moreover, he said that sins committed by YCP leaders are haunting them.
