Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jaganmohan Reddy accused that TDP has no courage to face elections and in the Pulivendula ZPTC by-poll democracy was butchered by not allowing voters to exercise their franchise.
Interacting with villagers before concluding his three day Pulivendula tour here on Tuesday, he said, the Pulivendula ZPTC by election is a clear example of how the democratic process was demeaned by not allowing people to vote freely which shows how much scared the TDP is to face elections.
En route, YS Jagan was told by the Ambakapalli villagers about the atrocities committed by TDP goons during the ZPTC elections and how they could not participate in the voting. They also explained the atrocities committed by the ruling party during the elections.
Everyone in this village has explained how their freedom of vote was suppressed using brute force of police making a mockery of democracy. He thanked everyone who has come to see him and said that he would be indebted to them for their unflinching loyalty.
“We all know how the Nandyal by-poll was held and we have also seen later how TDP was routed in the general elections and YSRCP won a landslide. God will teach a lesson and injustice cannot prevail for long.
There is no one to look after the farmers’ issue. In the name of Super Six people are being cheated and no section of society is happy and a time will come when this government will be thrown out”, he said.
Meanwhile, Jaganmohan Reddy offered Jalaharathi at Ambakapalle Cheruvu as Krishna waters reached the reservoir. Through PADA funds, Rs. 1.4 crore was utilized to acquire 14 acres and construct a new tank for the Ambakapalle Gangamma Kunta.
Additionally, MP YS Avinash Reddy spent Rs. 2.5 crore from his MP funds to establish a large sump at Hirojpuram village and lay a 4.5 km pipeline to Ambakapalle Cheruvu. As a result, Krishna waters have now reached the tank, bringing joy to the local residents.
