YS Jagan Gets Into Argument with Police At Assembly Gate

Monday, September 16, 2024

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly session commenced today with Governor Abdul Nazeer addressing both houses. Meanwhile, YSRCP chief YS Jagan and his party MLAs arrived wearing black scarves and badges in protest.

Tensions rose at the assembly gate as police intercepted the YSRCP members, objecting to their placards. A heated argument ensued between YS Jagan and the police, with Jagan expressing his frustration over the confiscation and tearing of the placards.

“Power is not permanent for any party. Anarchy is prevailing in the state. The priority should be to save democracy,” Jagan asserted. He questioned the police’s authority in stopping the placards and criticized their conduct, insisting they act according to the law.

Despite the initial confrontation, YSRCP members were eventually allowed to enter the assembly with their black scarves. However, YS Jagan walked out of the House during the Governor’s speech, continuing his protest against the current administration.
