YS Jagan Declare Fight Against privatization of Medical colleges, slams Super Six show A Forcible Revelry

Monday, December 8, 2025

Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy tore into the coalition governance and exposed the blatant white lies of Chandrababu Naidu blow by blow backed with data and warned that they would vehemently oppose the privatization of medical colleges and he would also take part in the protests.

He declared that the privatization move will be opposed tooth and nail and they will join hands with all like-minded people and organizations to force the government to roll back the decision and if they still go ahead with the decision, it will be reversed after we come to office.

He described the celebrations of Super Six as a Super flop and likened it to a forcible revelry for a flop show as the poll promises were not fulfilled and people were cheated while the farmers became victims of his greed and medical and health has become sick with his corrupt practices and raised a pointed question as to in to whose pockets did the Rs 2 lakh loans raised by the government go to.

Calling the bluff of Chandrababu by presenting print and video clippings, Jagan Mohan Reddy questioned as to why farmers are facing the problem of urea and other fertilizers now like never before and are standing in serpentine queues to buy urea? The answer is simple, he lacks sincerity while in our term we cared for the farmers and had set up RBKs which served as a one-stop solution to farmer needs.

The former Chief Minister accused that the allotted urea is being diverted by TDP cadre and middlemen and sold at double the rate and no crop is getting MSP. “We had set up a Rs 3,000 crore Price Stabilization Fund and came to the rescue of farmers whenever there were price fluctuations. Now, Chandrababu and his coterie are involved in a Rs 200 to 300 crore scam at the cost of farmers’ interest”, he said.

Jagan said that with a vision of up keeping public health, we have planned to set up one medical college in every district and have initiated the process of setting up 17 medical colleges of which five were functional and five others were near completion with all permissions and land acquisitions in place along with financial aid.

“We planned them in 50 acres at a cost of Rs 500 crore. Chandrababu has declined the sanction of medical seats to Pulivendula with a vindictive attitude and is now giving away medical colleges on a platter to private players for kickbacks and we will fight tooth and nail opposing it. This move will badly affect the medicare system as private hospitals will exploit the poor”, he added.

Showing the contrasting paper advertisements which shows Super Six before elections and on the eve of the celebrations in which three of the promises including unemployment stipend, Stree Nidhi and pension to BC and minority women are missing, he said this  shows how people are being cheated.

Jagan alleged that the coalition government has taken Rs 2 lakh crore after assuming office and money is not accounted for and where did it go is not known. The talk of wealth creation is meant for Chandrababu and his people and not for common people which is evident from the high level of corruption from, sand, liquor, mining, land and from top to bottom the corrupt practices continue, he added.
