The ruling YSRCP remained silent towards criticism from the opposition leaders against anti- people attitude of the government. But, now the ruling party leaders are unable to answer questions from their own party leaders. Its hard-core supporters also started to question their leaders on the mindless act of the government.
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s wife, YS Bharati, who is campaigning in his home constituency Pulivendala, became speechless when in a village her party’s activist himself questioned her. She was taken aback when she asked why CM Jagan’s photo was being printed on the patta pass books of the lands inherited from her grandfathers.
This bitter experience was tasted by her in Kummarapalle village of Vempalli mandal in PUlivendula constituency. When as part of her poll campaign she was going into the village, the husband of the former sarpanch of the village, Bhaskara Reddy showered her with pleading questions on the issue of the Chief Minister’s photo in the pass books.
The YCP leader told the CM’s wife that it was wrong to put CM Jagan Reddy’s photo on the land title deeds. Bhaskar Reddy suggested to her that only the photos of the farmers should be on the pattadar pass books as those are the farmers’ own lands from the time of their grandfathers.
He also brings to her notice how CM Jagan is ignoring farmers, who are key to the economy. He said that in every meeting Jagan is saying as “My SC, My BC and My Minority brothers and sisters’ ‘, but asked why not addressing farmers?
Moreover, he revealed that half of the amount of Rs.16,000 announced by the state government under Rythu Bharosa is from the central government. Bhaskar Reddy asked YS Bharti to bring these issues he mentioned to Jagan’s attention as his wife and do justice to the farmers.
While he was expressing his agony and discontent towards the attitude of the chief minister, YS Bharati except simply hearing his words, unable to utter a single word from her side and later silently turned back from there, left without saying anything.
