The steel city of Andhra Pradesh witnessed another Kidnap to the citizens’ shock even before they forgot the sensational kidnapping of MP MVV Satyanarayana’s family. Like the MP’s case, this new kidnap also ended on a positive note but the details are quite scary.
Going into the details, a realtor named Srinivas who worked for many years in the city of Vijayawada has relocated to Vizag with his wife Lakshmi to expand his business opportunities. The other day, the couple was abducted by Kidnappers and they let go of Lakshmi after some time. Lakshmi wasted no time and approached the city Police and the cops chased down within no time to rescue Srinivas. Police caught four kidnappers in this regard and started the investigation, relieving the realtor to his home safely. Upon the primary investigation, it came to know that Srinivas was accused of cheating for a total sum of 3 crores and the kidnappers have links to the victim Police are assuming that the one who booked a cheating case against Srinivas in Vijayawada might be the mastermind behind this whole kidnap. Also, the City Police revealed that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of 60 lakhs immediately to release Srinivas but Police just swung in time.
Whatever might be the case, the city of Vizag which was rather termed as a retirement destination for its calmness and safety has turned into a kidnapping hub these days. The irony is that the ruling party YSRCP claim Vizag as their only capital but the crime rate is quite scary.
