Senior Telugu Desam leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu criticized former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy for calling for protests on public issues as ridiculous. He alleged that Jagan wants to transfer his mistakes to the current government. He was furious that Jagan, who emptied the treasury, cannot remain without power.
Yanamala urged Jagan to realize that the people have rejected his anarchic rule. He was furious that Jagan is conspiring to create a law and order problem in the state by calling for protests. Yanamala reminded that the YSR family has the experience of creating such a law and order problem during the Chenna Reddy regime in the past.
He accused Jagan of trying to sideline the hardships faced by the people during his rule. He said that if Jagan’s cases increase in speed, people will get speedy justice. He said that a case should also be filed against KV Rao, who took the lands of small and medium farmers in the name of SEZ during YS’s rule.
He alleged that KV Rao took the lands during YS’s rule by paying only low compensation and transferred them to Aurobindo. Yanamala Ramakrishnudu demanded that the case be investigated from the perspective that farmers lost and Aurobindo gained due to KV Rao’s actions.
Meanwhile, TDP MLC Bhumireddy Ramgopal Reddy was furious that Jagan considers his suffering as the suffering of the world. He accused students of evading dues of Rs 3,500 crore. He said that electricity surcharges of Rs 11,600 crore were approved before the elections.
He questioned whether they were staging dharnas to evade insurance for Rabi crops. He warned that they would stage a dharna in front of Jagan’s house for not going to the assembly and for injustice to the people of Pulivendula, who won. He demanded that the irresponsible public representative should resign.
He said that in the last five years, Jagan never met the people or the activists when he was the CM. He said that it is ridiculous to say that he will fight with the activists today. He said that the credit for increasing electricity tariffs 9 times in the last five years belongs to the YSRCP government.
