The YSR Telangana party chief Y S Sharamila who is touted to merge her party in the Congress was left with no other choice but to contest all alone in the upcoming general elections.
Sharmila has expected big from the Congress high command but nothing has worked out in her favour. Be it the lag from her side in dealing with the things demanding beyond her capability as of now or the senior leaders of Telangana Congress’s reluctance towards the merging of YSRTP, nothing has worked out in the context of merging her party in the Congress. Finally, she was left with no other option other than contesting alone from the Telangana and as per the inside talk, it is heard that Sharmila is contemplating announcing the candidates in 119 constituencies.
Sharmila seems to have decided to give a tough fight in this election. Banking upon his father’s image, Sharmila is chalking out the plans to emerge victorious in Telangana. It is heard that Sharmila will be contesting from Paleru and Miryalaguda constituencies. Interestingly, her mother Vijayamma is also getting into the electoral race from the Secunderabad constituency. Have to wait and see what strategies will be implemented by YSRTP in the upcoming elections.
