The government has called for tenders worth Rs 71 crore for the renovation of the Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma Gaddelas. There is talk that the tender process was completed without even the slightest information from Minister Konda Surekha, who represents the Endowment Department, local MLA, tribal child, and state Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka.

Recently, allegations have been made that he is awarding works to his relatives and people from his district under the guise of tenders for Medaram works.
