TDP National Chief Chandrababu Naidu declared that he would work hard to fill the drought region of Rayalaseema after coming to power in 2024. He slammed Jagan for being the traitor to the region and promised to bring water to every inch of Rayalaseema.
CBN has been touring the region of Rayalaseema by visiting the irrigation projects exclusively. After checking the status of the Banakacherla project in the Nandyal district, the opposition leader of AP declared that none of the projects in the region are well maintained by the ruling party. Claiming that the TDP Government under his regime brought Godavari water to Rayalaseema by lift irrigation, the ex-CM of AP declared that he was always committed to the upliftment of the Ratnalaseema as he hailed from the region. He opined that if his government continued post-2019, his plans of filling all the irrigation projects with the Godavari water would have been a reality as the region would get as much as 280 TMC feet of water which otherwise would mix with the ocean by getting unused.
CBN smashed Chief Minister Jagan by declaring him as the sole reason for the state’s nill development. Naidu stated that he completed 70% of Polavaram’s work when he was the CM and Jagan did nothing but misused the funds of Polavaram by leaving the project high and dry. Babu promised the voters of Rayalaseema that he would fill every home with surplus water once he forms government in 2024.
