The AP elections have been the talk of the nation and the political heat in Andhra is seeing new heights each day passing by.
The Vijayawada West is one of the constituencies where TDP is always tumbling and it has been years since it has won in this segment. Earlier, Vellampalli won in this segment under Chiranjeevi’s Prajarajyam and later it was bagged by the ruling party YSR Congress. Jaleel Khan was victorious in 2014 followed by Vellampalli in 2019. Despite making it two times by the YSRCP, this party didn’t have a strong hold as it has been changing the candidates for every election.
The grand alliance of TDP-Janasena-BJP has placed Sujana Chowdary as their candidate and now this constituency has garnered more attention. Sujana is financially very sound and also has good connections locally. This might be a big advantage and also having the support of TDP and JSP, Sujana has the edge to emerge victorious in this constituency.
