We want the Telugu states to be united: Sajjala

Wednesday, November 13, 2024

The Government advisor of Andhra Pradesh, Sajjala Rama Krishna Reddy has become a laughing stock for the political observers in the state with his fresh comments on the AP bifurcation case.

It is a known fact that Undavalli Arun Kumar ridiculed Jagan and his co for intentionally damaging the future of AP by ignoring the Supreme Court’s orders on filing a counter for hearings regarding the AP-Telangana bifurcation. Countering Arun Kumar, Sajjala tried to defend his boss Jagan by claiming that his government is looking forward to reuniting the two Telugu states like in the past. Not stopping there, he stated that the YSRCP government led by CM Jagan will not compromise on the bifurcation of AP and will fight in court legally to get all the benefits. According to Sajjala, uniting the Telugu states is hard but not impossible.

Needless to say, his comments got a negative response within no time from all the political quarters of the state. Voters indeed blame the YSRCP government for not dealing with Telangana and the Center to get what’s due to the state post-bifurcation. Opposition leaders go a step further and reiterate the fact that the same Jagan sat silently when the state was bifurcating as an MP and never spoke anything against the split.
