Chiyaan Vikram is now gearing up to enthrall audiences once again with his eagerly awaited performance in the upcoming film ‘Thangalaan’. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the long-awaited ‘Thangalaan’ makers have announced the trailer’s release date.
The Thangalaan team shared a new poster on social media, revealing that the film’s trailer will be released on July 12. Pa Ranjith shared the update and wrote, “A quest for gold and a battle for liberation meet through bloodshed. #ThangalaanTrailer July 10th.”
‘Thangalaan’, a historical action drama based on true events, follows Chiyaan Vikram in the titular role, as a tribal leader who valiantly stands against the British invasion into their territory for gold mining at the backdrop of the Kolar Gold Fields. The earlier released teaser shared on Vikram’s birthday showcased Vikram in a rugged look, promising yet another incredible performance.
The film is jointly backed by Studio Green, Neelam Productions, and Jio Studios. Apart from Vikram as the main lead, the film has a talented cast, including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Arjun Anbudan, and Sampath Ram in significant roles.
GV Prakash Kumar is composing the musical tunes for this flick, while Slva RK handles the cinematography, and Kishor Kumar is the editor.
