Vijayawada Railway Court today expressed huge disappointment with the Tuni Train accident which happened in 2016 and has been dragged on for many years. It all happened in the year 2016 when the Kapu reservation movement turned intense and Ratnachal Express near Tuni has been set on fire by miscreants. A case was registered and Mudragada Padmanabham, the leader of the Kapu movement has been named A1 in the case with more than 40 people booked in connection with the case.
Now, it will be a big relief for those who were booked in the case as the Vijayawada railway court has dismissed the case. While Mudragada was named A1 and Akula Ramakrishna, and Minister Dadisetti Raja are A2 and A3 in this case. Now, with the case dismissed all the accused were relieved.
While it is known that the incident happened in the TDP government, the YSRCP government after coming into power withdrew the cases.
