Vietnam Is Ready To Enter Amravati In The place of Singapore!

Monday, December 8, 2025

It is known that Vietnam is interested in participating in the construction of Amaravati instead of Singapore. The previous Chandrababu Naidu government succeeded in convincing the Singapore government to participate in the development of Amaravati as a capital city.

But it failed to materialize as the subsequent YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government not only cancel the agreement reached with the Singapore government, but also harassed their officials.

With this, even though Chandrababu Naidu himself went to Singapore recently and requested to participate again, the Singapore government refused. With this, he is making efforts for another country. In the context of the resumption of construction in Amaravati, the government has decided to speed up these works. It hopes to make the main building complexes available within the stipulated time. All kinds of measures have been taken accordingly.

As part of accelerating the construction work of Amaravati, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recently visited Singapore and met with the ministers of that country. Chandrababu himself met Minister Tan See Leng and asked to be a part of the construction of Amaravati. There were reports at the time that he did not agree to this. However, he agreed to participate in the development of AP.

Amidst these developments, it is said that Vietnam is showing interest instead of Singapore. Official sources indicate that Vietnam has come forward to develop a startup area on 2,000 acres in Amaravati. In the context of Chandrababu’s ambitious take on the development of the Amaravati startup area, it is believed that it should be developed better than the plans given by Singapore in 2018.

It seems that the proposals submitted by Win Group are to be discussed in the CRDA meeting. It is learnt that an agreement can be signed as soon as CRDA gives the green signal. In fact, in 2018, an agreement was signed between Singapore and CRDA for the development of a 1,679-acre startup area in Amaravati. This broke down in the context of the change of government in 2019 and the YSRCP government’s inclination towards three capitals.
