The founder of the Janasena Party Pawan Kalyan has been touring the constituencies of united East Godavari districts on his election campaigning vehicle Varahi since the 14th of this month. However, his speeches aren’t well-telecasted by the mainstream media for some strange reason. Political experts have their own point that supports the poor coverage of Pawan’s road show.
Earlier, Pawan Kalyan met the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu a couple of times and indirectly sent feelers to TDP and its pro media that he is not against a possible alliance to defeat YSRCP like in 2014. Not stopping there, Pawan Kalyan himself declared that he should get at least 40-50 seats under his kitty to at least demand the CM seat if there is an alliance. Until this point, even the pro-TDP media have given decent coverage to Janasena and its happenings. However, right from the speech in Prathipadu, Pawan kept reiterating that he was ready to take up the responsibilities of the CM post and he urged the supporters to vote for the party. These two contrasting campaigns of Pawan Kalyan not only confused the TDP leaders but also irked the pro-TDP media and websites resulting in less coverage of the Varahi tour. As this is not enough, the media outlets are even contemplating and analyzing how Pawan Kalyan can become a CM considering his vote bank as of now.
Not just once but in the three meetings in Prathipadu, Pithapuram, and Kakinada road shows, PK spoke about becoming the CM, and now both TDP and its supporting media are in dual minds regarding the alliance. As there are more meetings to happen, Pawan might clarify his contrasting statements and soothe his future partnering party TDP.
