Former MLA and TDP leader Vangaveeti Radha fell ill. On Thursday morning, he felt a slight pain in his heart. Immediately the family members rushed him to a private hospital in Vijayawada for immediate treatment. The doctors who conducted tests there concluded that there is no problem for him.
Doctors said that his supporters need not worry about his health and said he will be under doctor’s observation for the next 48 hours. They conducted certain medical examinations. Several leaders of alliance parties are inquiring about his health. As Vangaveeti Radha said that he felt slight pain, the family members took him to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
His family members clarified that there is no truth in the speculation that he was suffering from heart problems. Vangaveeti Radha campaigned in all the districts across the state for the victory of TDP, Janasena and BJP alliance in the recent elections.
Although there was a move for his contest in the recent elections, he stayed away from the elections. Chandrababu also announced that he will honor Vangaveeti Radha by giving her a proper place. There is a discussion that there is a possibility of giving him some nominated position or MLC. But his name was not figured in the first list of nominated posts announced two days ago.
Vangaveeti Radha was earlier in Congress and later in YSRCP. During the 2019 elections, he joined the Telugu Desam Party and campaigned on behalf of the candidates. Later, he was a bit away from active politics, but declared support for Amaravati farmers’ struggle.
Also, he met Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan on one or two occasions. During the 2024 elections, there was a move to get him to join the YCP again, but he preferred to avoid a change of party.
