The latest orders given by the Andhra Pradesh High Court on the irregularities in the Srivari Parakamani in Tirumala are creating a stir in political circles. At a time when allegations of looting of Rs 100 crores in Srivari Parakamani during the YSRCP regime are rife, the High Court has ordered the CBCID to investigate the theft case and submit a report in a sealed cover by October 13th.

Moreover, it has stayed the Lok Adalat verdict, which was closed allegedly after out-side `settlement’ by key persons in the government at that time. The CID has been ordered to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. State Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has accused YSRCP gangsters of looting the property of Srivari.

He criticized YSRCP leaders for being behind the ‘money thief’ of Rs 100 crore. He accused that the five-year Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime was notorious for corrupt practices. He expressed his anger that anarchy has spread andJagan has made AP a safe haven for thieves, looters and mafia dons. Minister Nara Lokesh tweeted to this effect on social media.

“The Jagan gang, which looted the people along with mines, lands, forests and all resources… did not even leave the property of Tirumala Srivari. With the blessings of Tadepalli Palace and the support of the then TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, the thieves entered the Tirumala Parakamani. They looted crores of rupees. They invested this money in real estate,” Lokesh said.

“The accused themselves say that shares in this have been transferred from Bhumana in Tirupati to Tadepalli Palace. When Ravikumar looted hundreds of crores of rupees in donations and gifts deposited in Hundi by devotees all over the world with great trust, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, who was the TTD chairman, and his men tried to settle this case in Lok Adalat,” Minister Lokesh add3ed.

In this context, BJP leader and TTD board member Bhanuprakash Reddy alleged that Rs. 100 crores had been diverted from TTD during the previous YSRCP government. He alleged that shares in this had also been transferred from TTD to Tadepalli Palace in the past. He bombarded the then government officials with assets worth Rs. 40 crores in the name of Swami.

Bhanuprakash Reddy questioned why the then officials agreed to settle this scam? Stating that the TTD vigilance report stated that the settlement was made due to police pressure, he demanded that the police officer who brought that pressure be identified.
