Survey after survey at national level projecting changing moods of the people of Andhra Pradesh and predicting change of government in the forthcoming elections. On Tuesday, two prominent news channels predicted the return of TDP in the state, giving a clear-cut edge to TDP and its allies.
They are India TV- CNX Opinion Poll and ABP News- C Voter survey. Both the surveys indicated that TDP and its allies will win most of Lok Sabha seats. Naturally, that trend will reflect in Assembly polls also.
India TV- CNX Opinion Poll predicted that both TDP and BJP will win 15 of 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state, giving 10 seats to YSRCP, In Telangana, the same poll said that Congress will get 8 Lok Sabha seats, followed by BJP 6, BRS 2 and AIMIM 1. It projected that AIMIM candidate Asaduddin Owaisi is facing a tiff contest from BJP’s Madhavi Latha in Hyderabad.
ABP News- C Voter Survey has given a more clear-cut edge to TDP and its allies in Andhra Pradesh. It states that TDP, Jana Sena and BJP will win 20 Lok Sabha seats, leaving only 5 to YSRCP.
This survey projects a vote share of 46.7 per cent to TDP and its allies and 39.9 percent to YSRCP.
In Telangana, it projects Congress will win 10 Lok Sabha seats with 42 percent votes, followed by 5 seats with 26 percent votes and BRS confines to 1 seat with 27 percent votes. It says AIMIM will retain its single seat.
