In connection with the recent collision of large boats with the Prakasam Barrage, Vijayawada police have arrested two individuals. Ushadri from Kukkalagadda and Komatireddy Rammohan from Suryapalem were detained and subsequently presented before the Vijayawada court. The court has granted a 14-day remand for the accused, who have been transferred to the district jail.
The incident has raised suspicions among the police, particularly due to the fact that the boats involved were painted in YSRCP colors. Authorities are investigating whether there might be a conspiracy behind the collision.
