Wednesday, April 2, 2025

The dispute between TTD employees and a board member has been resolved. The employees and board members who met at the Tirumala Annamayya Bhavan on the initiative of Executive Officer Shyamala Rao discussed with each other. Board member Naresh Kumar, who abused TTD employee Balaji Singh at the Mahadwaram gate, personally apologized.

Naresh Kumar admitted that the incident was unfortunate and that they had discussed the issue with the employees and resolved it. Meanwhile, three days ago, he abused a TTD employee. The employees’ union leaders said that their sentiments were hurt by this and that they were protesting.

Keeping the dispute in mind, TTD EO Shyamala Rao organized a meeting with the employees and board members. The employees said that the EO had assured them that steps would be taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. They said that they were calling off the agitation after the board member apologized to the employee.

“It is unfortunate that a board member abused an employee. We protested for 2 days to demand an apology from the Board Member. The TTD EO and Additional EO examined our problems. Board member Naresh apologized to Balaji Singh. They have assured that such things will not happen in the future. We are calling off our agitation,” said Nagarjuna, TTD Employees’ Union Leader.

TTD Board Member Naresh Kumar had darshan of Srivari during the VIP break darshan on the morning of the 18th. Later, he came to the main gate with his family. The Board Member’s assistant asked the employee Balaji Singh to open the gate.

However, he replied that no one was being sent through the main gate and that if there was any objection, they should contact the higher authorities. Losing patience with this, Board Member Naresh Kumar abused the TTD employee.

Meanwhile, TTD VGO Surendra and Potu AEO Muniratnam, who reached there, pacified the Board Member Naresh Kumar and sent him out through the main gate. Then, the employees protest demanding action against the Board Member who had misbehaved with the employee. The controversy has now come to an end.
