Cricketer-turned-politician Ambati Rayudu has been in the news for the last couple of days for leaving the ruling party of AP, YSRCP, and joining Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena. None other than Rayudu himself gave the much-needed reason behind his shift in loyalties.
Rayudu joined YSRCP and hailed Jagan as a visionary leader. Not stopping there, the IPL player supported the Cricket tournament organized by the AP Government. All of a sudden, he left YSRCP and met Pawan Kalyan to officially join Janasena thereby shocking the political onlookers. After meeting PK and enrolling himself in the party, Rayudu stated that he joined YSRCP to serve the people of his region but not with expectations of any ticket. However, the ideals of YSRCP didn’t match with him and he decided to leave politics. It was then his family members advised him to meet Pawan Kalyan and he did so only to know that his ideologies completely matched with the hero-turned-politician and his party’s manifesto.
Ambati Rayudu declared that he had no regrets and complaints against YSRCP or YS Jagan in this regard and he was happy to pursue his political journey in Janasena. For now, the political experts say that he might or might not get a seat as an MP due to the tight seat sharing between TDP and Janasena.
