Telugu States To Initiate Joint Drive Against Cyber Crimes, Drugs

Apart from resolving issues related to bifurcation, Chief Ministers of two Telugu states Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy have also decided to work together on the problems of the people of the two Telugu states. Particularly they identified issues of cybercrimes and drugs.

Telangana deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka said that Telangana will conduct a special drive with an officer of the level of Additional DG on the issue of anti-narcotics. He reminded that common people are facing difficulties related to cybercrime.

It has been explained that it has been decided that both the states should work in coordination in these two aspects and control drugs and cyber crimes.

Andhra Pradesh Minister A Satya Prasad said that in addition to the two Committees, it was also decided to have coordination between the two States for curbing the drug menace and cyber crimes.

In order to protect the people of the two states from these mobsters, a committee will be formed in the two states at the level of Additional DG, and it has been decided to work in coordination and control them, he added.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy opined that ganja was being manufactured extensively in Andhra Pradesh and was being transported to Telangana. The Andhra Pradesh government had already constituted a sub committee involving a few Ministers on the measures to be adopted for curbing drug menace, he said.

“Andhra Pradesh government is also striving to ensure a drug free society. In our State, ganja was available even in bags of eighth standard school children,” Satya Prasad said.

For effective monitoring and regulation, it was further decided that there should be better coordination between the two States. To this effect, Additional DG rank Officers from both the States would work in coordination, he added.

This meeting between the two Chief Ministers has laid the foundation for a progressive way of resolving issues through dialogue, he added.

He said that all the issues were discussed in depth. He said that they have decided to take everyone’s emotions into consideration without hurting anyone’s sentiments. He said that in the coming days more meetings of the Committee of Officers, Committee of Ministers and CMs will be held.

He said that joint decisions have been taken with the intention of making two states drug free. He said that the situation of finding ganja in school bags in AP is hidden.It was explained that ganja is produced in AP and is coming to Hyderabad.

As a whole, he said we need to protect Telugu people from this menace. He said that in two weeks, good policies will be implemented.
