In what may be called a proud moment for all the Telugu people that live across the Globe, the Reserve Bank of India is all set to honor NT Rama Rao by having his face on its yet-to-be-released 100 rupees coin.
The BJP lead Union Central Government has decided to accredit the demised star hero cum founder of TDP, NTR by directing the RBI to print his face on the upcoming 100 rupees coin. In this regard, the RBI has already tested this by minting NTR Sr’s face on a silver 100 rupees coin and it turned out to be pretty good. The officials reportedly showcased this silver coin to NTR’s daughter and BJP leader Daggubati Puradareswari and the latter expressed her happiness and satisfaction with this act. The design was immediately approved after positive feedback and the Central Mint shall soon start minting the regularly used 100 coins for the regular public.
This is said to be a rare honor for the Telugu legend who has written a lot of pages for himself in history books as an all-round performer in Cinema and a true leader in Politics. Some analysts sharply state that this move is to impress the Telugu voters to turn them towards the BJP and also to impress TDP for its possible alliance with the saffron for both the State and Parliament elections of 2024. Whatever might be the case, it can’t get any better than any civilian honors from the Central Government.
