Though it is expected that the Telugu Desam Party would contest in all the constituencies before, as a part of political strategy, the Telangana TDP has decided not to contest in the upcoming general elections.
Citing the decision of the high command has hurt his feelings, the T-TDP head Kasani Gnaneswar has submitted his resignation to the party chief and declared that he is quitting the party. He also stated that despite facing the toughest time for the party, the cadre has worked to the fullest but backing up from the elections raises the question of the existence of the party.
Kasani has mentioned that stepping back from the elections has disappointed the T-TDP leaders to the core and he questioned the party heads why they chose that decision when the other emerging parties like Janasena and BSP are in the political race. Kasani opined that he wasn’t fit to be the head when he couldn’t give the B-forms to the candidates who wished to contest this time.
