Telangana ministers are expressing their anger over some copies of the report prepared by the high command on their performance and was recently given to them by the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. They asked whether the same high-command was not given a report on the performance of the Chief Minister?
It is learnt that the CM explained to the ministers in a recent meeting of ministers held last month that the high command given a progress report and that the performance of the ministers in the respective departments so far, their interaction with the people, and ultimately the profit they have made to the party, the loss they have incurred, etc., were given A, B, C and D grades.
Ministers have reportedly made sarcastic remarks asking did the high command give a grading only to the ministers? No report about the Chief Minister, whose MLA support is decreasing day by day? They are saying that the number of 19 MLAs who fully supported whatever decision CM has taken has now come down to 15.
According to the high-command report, a minister from North Telangana, another minister from South Telangana got D grades, and another minister from South Telangana district got C grade. It is reported that except for two ministers who are somewhat close to the CM, the rest of the cabinet is in B, C and D grades.
The ministers have reportedly got angry and asked the Chief Minister which scheme has been implemented? They recalled a scheme was brought for the youth as part of the election promise, it will not be taken into account at all.
When the Chief Minister asked them to get ready for local bodies polls, ministers wondered “how can we go to the local elections without providing employment to the youth?” It is reported that a minister who got D grade shed tears and expressed his grief that he has not been allowed to feel comfortable for the past 17 months and that he is being diluted with some accusation.
“Farmers are again complaining about every issue like loan waiver, stopped Rythu Bharosa investment assistance, grain procurement, shortage of fertilizers and seeds again. There are farmers who think that we are the reason for this. In such a situation, what can we say to the people?”, they asked.
It is learnt that a senior minister has demurred. The Rythu Bharosa scheme was given up to three acres and then the scheme was stopped halfway, and under this scheme, Rs. 9,300 crore was to be given for the Yasangi season, but even Rs. 5,000 crore could not be distributed, the minister has said.
He also mentioned that the finance department has not released funds for farmers’ insurance and seeds. It is learnt that the CM has been strongly demurred as to why funds are not being given for farmer schemes.
