The deepened investigation of CBI has been irking the YSRCP MP Avinash Reddy as his name was almost finalized as one of the accused master planners in the murder of YS Viveka Reddy. In this regard, the MP of Kadapa approached Telangana High Court for a quick stay against the CBI in case of any possible arrest.
The CBI grilled Avinash Reddy for multiple times and it even enlisted him as the perpetuator along with his father Bhaskar Reddy in the murder case of Viveka. Avinash Reddy recently approached the High Court of Telangana and filed a stay alleging that the CBI has not been partial with his investigation. Avniash’s advocate argued that they are doubting if CBI was recording the statement of Avinash Reddy properly. CBI argued that they have already issued notices according to the section 160 CRPC that they would take Avinash into custody if needed. As the case came to the hearing today, the Judge asked the CBI not to arrest Avinash Reddy until next Monday and directed the CBI to handover the investigation case file along with the recordings of the investigation in a hard disk so that it would verify the amount of truth in Avinash’s petition.
Meanwhile the CBI Court considered the latest developments and postponed the further investigations to 31st March. Sources say that the CBI officials are gathering all the evidence against Avinash Reddy for his possible arrest if needed.
