The Telangana Cabinet will convene on December 30 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at the State Secretariat. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari issued orders confirming the schedule.
The meeting is expected to address several key issues, including the implementation of Rythu Bharosa, policies on ration cards, financial assistance for the landless poor, and governance matters related to the Yadagirigutta Temple Board.
Telangana Government Announces Solar Power Initiative for Self-Help Groups
The Telangana government has unveiled a significant initiative to support self-help groups by establishing solar power plants. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari announced that 231 acres would be utilized in the first phase to set up these plants, providing both employment opportunities and financial benefits to the groups.
During a review meeting, the Chief Secretary emphasized the government’s focus on empowering women’s associations by installing solar power plants on temple lands and introducing electric buses. The solar power projects will be implemented across five districts of Telangana.
