The Telangana BJP president and the union minister Kishan Reddy has personally met the Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan to discuss regarding the general elections.
It is heard that Kishan Reddy has requested the Janasenani Pawan Kalyan not to participate in the electoral polls and instead asked him to extend his support to the BJP. Responding to this, Pawan Kalyan has stated that he will discuss this with his party members and then take a decision. As far as anyone knows, the Janasena party is an ally of the BJP in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Congress and the TRS are already locking horns by announcing their welfare schemes. The BJP is the only party left behind even without releasing the manifesto.
The TDP is contemplating contesting in all the seats in Telangana and has to wait and see if it steps back by joining the alliance with BJP. There is an opinion among many of the Janasena activists that the BJP is sidelining JSP by using them for their political agenda. Let’s wait and see if Janasena will contest in any constituencies or if will it be a mute spectator as before.
