TDP leader and Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu launched a scathing attack on former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Ram Mohan Naidu stated that the people ended Jagan’s five-year tenure as they could no longer tolerate his governance. He further criticized Jagan for failing to change his negative attitude and approach, even after his defeat.
Ram Mohan Naidu pointed out that people sidelined Jagan because they felt his leadership posed a threat to the state. “Wherever Jagan goes, trouble seems to follow,” he remarked.
On the issue of floods in Vijayawada, Ram Mohan Naidu accused Jagan of speaking without proper understanding. He mocked Jagan’s statements that gates of the Budameru canal were lifted, leading to Amaravati being submerged. Ram Mohan Naidu expressed disappointment that Jagan sought to politicize the situation amidst the heavy floods.
Ram Mohan Naidu praised CM Chandrababu Naidu for using drones during the disaster to provide relief to areas that were difficult to access. Despite these efforts, he condemned Jagan’s political mudslinging during the crisis.
He also lauded Chandrababu for once again proving his unparalleled leadership in handling natural disasters. Ram Mohan Naidu warned that action would be taken against those spreading misinformation about the government on social media. He reassured the public that the central government is extending all necessary support to the state.
