NarasaRaopet MP and TDP Lok Sabha floor leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu has launched a scathing attack on YSRCP chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, accusing him of deliberately creating unrest and social division to serve political ends.
Referring to the recent controversy during Jagan’s visit to Papireddypalli in Sri Sathya Sai district, Devarayalu alleged that the YSRCP leader is orchestrating incidents aimed at disrupting public peace. In a letter addressed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the MP went as far as to label Jagan a “professional political criminal” and warned that the developments are part of a dangerous trend undermining law and order in the state.
Devarayalu questioned the credibility of Jagan’s claims of a security breach, pointing out that the YSRCP chief already enjoys Z-plus category protection. “If the helicopter was truly damaged at 12:56 PM, how did it take off again by 1 PM? This seems more like political theatre than a genuine threat,” he said. He further alleged that Jagan’s sudden decision to shift to road travel was a pre-planned move to stoke fear and portray himself as a victim.
The TDP MP also condemned Jagan’s repeated public threats against police officials, accusing him of demoralising the force and weakening their confidence. “Such consistent intimidation and disrespectful remarks against the police are deeply concerning and will have a negative impact on the law enforcement system,” he stated.
Highlighting the role of pro-YSRCP media, Devarayalu claimed that false narratives are being spread intentionally to create fear among the public and foster distrust towards the state administration. “It’s a calculated effort to mislead citizens and damage democratic institutions,” he alleged.
Turning to Jagan’s legal troubles, Devarayalu reminded that the CBI has filed 11 charge sheets and the Enforcement Directorate has registered 9 money laundering cases against him. “Jagan is still out on bail and has a history of using his father’s power to accumulate illegal wealth,” he added.
He also brought up the unsolved murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy, Jagan’s uncle, alleging that the YSRCP chief politicised the case before the 2019 elections and is now undermining the CBI’s investigation for personal gain.
Concluding his remarks, Devarayalu said that Jagan’s political narrative is built on deceit, drama, and manipulation. “These calculated moves are nothing but an attempt to destabilise democracy and misguide the people of Andhra Pradesh,” he asserted.
