Anantapur: Tadipatri Municipal Chairman and senior TDP leader JC Prabhakar Reddy on Sunday launched a scathing attack on YSRCP leaders during a media interaction at his residence in Anantapur. He attributed the freedom YSRCP leaders currently enjoy to Chief Minister Chandrababu’s goodwill, asserting that it was due to his magnanimity that they are able to move freely just five months into their term.
Reddy accused former minister Perni Nani of harassment and alleged that his family, particularly the women, were being targeted as part of retaliatory actions. He strongly criticized the midnight arrest of Chandrababu, questioning whether authorities failed to notice the distress of his family during the incident.
Referring to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, Reddy remarked that despite repeated accusations about his personal life, Kalyan had chosen to remain silent. “If he decides to act, do you know where you’ll stand today?” he warned.
Reddy also alleged corruption against Perni Nani, claiming the construction of a godown on 1.12 acres in Machilipatnam and misappropriation of rice meant for the poor. He issued a stern warning, stating that if Nani continues to make public statements, he would reveal incriminating details.
The TDP leader further shared that he has been growing his beard in protest against the false cases filed against him and vowed to shave it off only when he clears his name.
