The opposition party of AP, TDP is quite aggressive regarding the upcoming elections of 2024 as it is keen on dethroning YS Jagan at any cost. In this regard, the party’s chief CBN is all set to attract the dissent leaders of YSRCP. Three of the current ruling party’s leaders are now in touch with the TDP to get the B forms.
The three dissident leaders who are quite obvious to all political enthusiasts; are Nellore district MLAs Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy & Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishnan Raju. Among these, RRR was the first leader that rebelled against the ruling party YSRCP within the first year after Jagan become CM. The two crossed swords all the time and their rivalry went to an extent that RRR stayed in his Hyderabad residence without even entering the state of AP foreseeing that the Jagan might use his power to arrest him in order to harras. Earlier many thought he would join BJP considering his proximity with the central leaders but sources close to him point at the TDP. So CBN is more than happy to give his MP ticket back to the TDPs ticket for the polls. The two MLAs of Nellore district, Anam and Kotamreddy are the two among the few sitting MLAs who aren’t happy with the way Jagan has been ruling. They almost declared their bid to farewell the party and will officially join TDP anytime in the upcoming months. Anam worker in Congress before coming to the YSRCP whereas Kotamreddy jumped from TDP to YSRCP. All in all these two would get the B forms and Chief Naidu assured them the tickets under his flag.
With these three, YSRCP is already facing the downfall even before the commencement of elections as more leaders are ready to leave the party and join TDP or other parties. Meanwhile, Jagan, who is unhappy with the dissent MLAs will anyway send them out of the party for 2024 polls.
