Though state level leaders are striving hard to strengthen bondage between alliance partners- TDP, Jana Sena and BJP, ground level realities seem to be making a difference. In several constituencies both Jana Sena and BJP leaders are attempting to ensure continuation of their own political identity, fearing they would lose their grip among people due to the dominant TDP cadre.
In Adoni of combined Kurnool district, BJP’s MLA Dr. Parthasaradhi’s unilateral and arrogant attitude making local TDP leadership impatient. Though BJP has no considerable presence in the constituency and BJP’s candidate is `outsider’, it was due to TDP’s support he became MLA.
However, TDP leaders are alleging that after becoming MLA he has been ignoring their identity and involving them in government programmes. Former TDP MLA Meenakshi Naidu made sensational comments against Adoni’s sitting MLA Dr. Parthasaradhi. Former Telugu Desam Party MLA Meenakshi Naidu made sensational comments about Dr. Parthasaradhi.
He alleged that the BJP MLA is acting like a camel without caring about the rules and regulations of the coalition government. However, BJP MLA Dr. Parthasarathy countered the allegations of Meenakshi Naidu bitterly.
During the Independence Day celebrations on Thursday, the local people were shocked when the leaders of TDP and BJP in Adoni’s coalition government made accusations against each other openly. Meenakshi Naidu questioned that BJP MLA Dr. Parthasarathy is not giving information about the government’s programs to local TDP leaders.
Meenakshi Naidu warned that if BJP MLA Parthasaradhi behaves like this, they will show what they are capable of. Responding to this matter, Dr. Parthasarathy accused that there are five groups in Adoni TDP. He said that during assembly elections, the leaders of every group of TDP and Jana Sena in TDP fully supported him.
So, he said that now he is also giving the same priority to all groups and felt there is no reason to accuse him unnecessarily. However, indicating that he need not care about local TDP leaders, he asserted that for him the development of Adoni town is his first priority.
Moreover, he said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also told him the same and he will not encourage group politics in Adoni. Meanwhile, local Jana Sena leaders are maintaining silence over public differences between TDP and BJP leaders.
