While hearing a petition seeking to cancel the accused bail in former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case, the Supreme Court sought the CBI’s opinion on 3 issues in this case. After the CBI’s opinion, it said that it will inquire into the cancellation of MP Avinash Reddy’s bail.

The Supreme Court ordered the CBI to tell the court whether it thinks further investigation is necessary or not? It also sought the CBI’s opinion on the closure report filed by the state government in the Kadapa Sessions Court. The court asked the CBI’s opinion on whether the trial and further investigation of the case can be continued simultaneously?

Viveka’s daughter Dr. Sunitha and the CBI have filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of the bail of MP Avinash Reddy and some others, who are accused in this case.

The Telangana High Court had earlier granted bail to Avinash Reddy and several other accused. The CBI and Sunitha challenged the Telangana High Court’s verdict in the Supreme Court.

The state government, which had previously filed an additional affidavit in the Supreme Court on the Viveka murder case, has revealed some more sensational facts in it. The government has recently attached a report to the Pulivendula court with the affidavit.

In it it stated that the complaint filed by Viveka’s former PA Krishna Reddy against CBI SP Ram Singh and Sunitha couple during the YSRCP’s regime and the registration of a case based on it was all a conspiracy. It has been revealed that MP Avinash Reddy tried to mislead the Viveka murder case.

It has been stated that they tried to implicate Viveka’s daughter Sunitha and her husband Rajasekhara Reddy in the case. It has been clarified in the affidavit that the case was registered against Ramsingh and Sunitha couple only on the orders of Avinash. The affidavit stated that there was a conspiracy to overturn the Viveka case, and that when the government filed a case against the then CBI SP Ram Singh.

Moreover, it alleged the investigating officer did not investigate properly, and that retired Additional SP Rajeshwara Reddy and ASI Ramakrishna Reddy were the main actors in this. It made it clear that everything, from the FIR to the false statements of witnesses and the filing of the charge sheet, was handled by them.

It stated that Krishna Reddy could not provide evidence for any of his allegations. It stated that CBI SP Ram Singh never questioned Krishna Reddy. It revealed that none of the things Krishna Reddy said were true and that the charge sheet was prepared without questioning the witnesses.
