The Supreme Court has issued key orders regarding the cases of former Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy. The court has ordered Jagan to take up the cases on a day-to-day basis. It has refused to transfer the cases of Jagan and clarified that there is no need to transfer Jagan to another state in the wake of the monitoring of the disproportionate assets case in the Telangana High Court.

It has also said that there is no need for a separate hearing on the petition to cancel Jagan’s bail. To this extent, the Supreme Court has dismissed the petition filed by AP Assembly Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju to transfer the cases against Jagan. Now, the lawyer representing Raghurama Krishna Raju withdraw the petition filed by him seeking cancellation of Jagan’s bail on Monday.

The Supreme Court bench heard this petition on January 27. Raghurama Krishna Raju’s lawyer brought to the court’s attention that the trial in the Jagan assets case is not being conducted properly. He said that the case will be heard only on Fridays and Saturdays. Jagan’s lawyer requested that the cases of MPs and MLAs be heard by special courts on a daily basis.

With this, the Apex Court said that there is no need to hear the petition to cancel Jagan’s bail separately. With this, Raghuramakrishna Raju’s lawyer requested the Supreme Court to allow him to withdraw his petition. The high court granted permission for this.

Meanwhile, a bench of Justice Nagaratna and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma heard the petition of Raghuramakrishna Raju today. At this time, the bench heard the arguments of petitioner Raghurama Krishnam Raju and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. The Supreme Court has ruled that the previous verdict given by the Supreme Court in the case of MLAs and MPs is also applicable to this case.

With this, it said that the trial court should take it for day-to-day hearing and the High Court should also monitor it, so there is no need to transfer it to another state, the bench ruled. This has given some relief to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Supreme Court.
