Once known as No 2 in the YSRCO and former Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy recently quitting from the party and also resigning to the Rajya Sabha announced his departure from the politics. Though he made it clear that he will not join any political party or even accept any `public office’, but confined to horticulture, many who knew about his lobbying skills believed him.
His meeting of APCC chief YS Sharmila and discussing with her three hours on his bitter political experiences in YSRCP has given scope to suspect that he is strategically making moves for a political comeback. But, a few days ago, he also shared a photo of himself with a jeep in a farmland and said that he has started his new job of horticulture.
But Vijayasai Reddy’s sudden appearance welcoming Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar in Hyderabad on Sunday has once again given scope for wide spread speculations over his proposed political comeback. It is known that the Vice President is the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha and as a former member of the Upper House, he is having some relations with him.
But no one is ready to believe that it was a courtesy present to welcome him and many wondered why did Vijayasai Reddy, who said goodbye to politics, now come to welcome Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar? Moreover, questions arise that how did Vijayasai Reddy, a former MP, get the chance to welcome the Vice President even before TDP’s sitting Rajya Sabha member Sana Satish?
Now his photo of welcoming the Vice President and speculations around his public appearances are going viral in the social media. Those who have seen them are commenting whether Vijayasai Reddy is re-entering politics or is he joining BJP? Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar participated in a program held at IIT Hyderabad on Sunday.
Not only that, Vijayasai Reddy posted on his Facebook that Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, along with Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma, reached IIT Hyderabad in Medak in an IAF chopper from Shamshabad Airport. The priority given by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar to former MP Vijayasai Reddy has also become a topic of discussion.
