SIT Filed second supplementary chargesheet Against Chevireddy, Three others In Liquor scam

The SIT officials have filed the second supplementary chargesheet in the liquor scam case in the Vijayawada ACB court on the involvement of Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, his friend Venkatesh Naidu, Balaji Kumar Yadav and Naveen Krishna, who were key players in the bribery case. The SIT officials have filed the second supplementary chargesheet, which is more than 80 pages, in the liquor scam case worth thousands of crores during the YSRCP regime.

Former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s closest associate, Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, who is the 38th accused in the liquor case, his friend CH Venkatesh Naidu, who is the 34th accused, Chevireddy’s main aide M. Balaji Kumar Yadav, who is the 35th accused, and personal assistant E. Naveen Krishna, who is the 36th accused, have been included in the latest charge sheet in full detail.

The SIT investigation has concluded that Chevireddy acted as the mastermind, the doer, and the doer in transferring some of the bribe money looted from liquor supply companies to YSRCP candidates in the last elections. The SIT has found that Chevireddy’s close associate Venkatesh Naidu was key in transferring the bribe money and sending it to the collection points, and that Balaji and Naveen Krishna cooperated with them.

It has been concluded that Tuda vehicles were used for this. Along with this information, it is reported that the charge sheet includes the names of those to whom the funds were transferred. It seems that call detail records, cell tower locations, tower dumps, device activity, information on vehicle movements near toll plazas, and forensic reports have been submitted to the court along with this charge sheet.

The SIT investigation revealed that Chevireddy had formed several shell companies in the name of his benami to convert some of the black money looted through liquor bribes into white and carried out large-scale land transactions.

The SIT found that he had purchased 260 acres of land near Gudur in Tirupati district by paying Rs 6 crore in cash and sold it for Rs 26 crore within two months, converting the entire amount into white. It has been revealed that 8 benami companies were formed to purchase 2.93 acres of land in the name of the wife of the chief priest of a temple in Tiruchanur with black money.
