The YSRCP Government headed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy finally sanctioned a bumper gift for his community. With 175 crores of rupees, Jagan is giving money to Christian pastors to renovate their churches across the state
Seems the first time CM Jagan is keen on saving the minority votes just like he did in the 2019 elections by keeping him close to their hearts. Jagan already is giving freebies and many sanctions to Christian pastors along with consolidated monthly income and getting their support in rural areas. Now he has directed all the concerned ministers and district-wide collectors to sanction one crore each to all the existing constituencies in India to distribute it accordingly. Already the government has started receiving applications from the pastors who have to renovate the churches. Upon processing the applications, funds shall be directly released to related pastors and Christian heads to renovate and reconstruct the old Churches. Jagan wants to complete this work as soon as possible to make it a Christmas gift for the entire community. Needless to say, this act will only help the YSRCP government for the general polls.
On one hand, some are praising this sanction but on the other hand, many are pointing their fingers at Jagan stating that he is only serving his community leaving Hindu temples aside. The Jagan government has a bad reputation already in maintaining Hindu temples badly and many mishaps happened to Hindu idols and temple lands during his tenure. One has to see how this really affects him in elections.
