YSRTP’s President, YS Sharmila is all set to walk along the All India Congress Committee for the general elections of Telangana which are to be held in the month of 2023’s December. A fresh update regarding the alliance would take place soon as she is all set to meet the AICC high commander, Sonia Gandhi.
It has been heavily speculated that Sharmila who understood she has fewer vote banks in Telangana wants to form an alliance with the Congress and she is already in talks with Karnataka’s Deputy CM Shivaraj Kumar. Now that the mediations have ended, Sharmila got the appointment of Sonia Gandhi in Karnataka. On the dates of the 17th and 18th, the main opposition party of India, AICC organized opposition party meetings to discuss dethroning BJP and Modi from power. So the head, Sonia Gandhi will be visiting Bengaluru on those dates to meet more than 27 opposition parties to BJP and she also scheduled a meeting with Sharmila. Sources close to the YSRTP camp say that Sharmila is not keen on merging her party but the daughter of the late YSR was expecting a few seats in Telangana with just alliance.
Despite Revanth’s multiple warnings to the bigwigs of the Congress, Shivaraj Kumar’s mediations worked and it is Gandhis who will take the final call on the alliance and the seat-sharing equations.
