APCC chief YS Sharmila Reddy ridiculing Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments in Vijayawada that last five year’s YSRCP rule was a disaster, said that even a chameleon would be ashamed of his dramas. She asked what he would do if destruction was going on for five years in AP?
YS Sharmila lamented that former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy had acted like an `adopted son’ and `puppet’ of Narendra Modi-led central government for five years. Wasn’t it the NDA that was at the center for those five years? Did you sit and watch the celebration in Delhi?, she asked.
She expressed her anger asking that if the Polavaram work was stopped in the name of reverse tendering, did he question the former Chief Minister even for a day? If the YSRCP ruled AP as a state without a capital for five years, wouldn’t the center see it?
She was furious and asked if he was taking on a debt of Rs. 10 lakh crores at will, doesn’t it seem like destruction was taking place? She questioned Amit Shah as to why he was silent as the Union Home Minister when she was fighting for justice at the Delhi level in the murder case of his own uncle?
If there is corruption on a large scale, has Amit Shah revealed even a single thing? To this extent, Sharmila reacted sharply to Amit Shah on the X platform. On this occasion, she alleged that “Jagan has been your adopted son for five years. A puppet who plays as if he has been played. A rubber stamp who supports your bills in Parliament. An agent who plunders natural resources in AP for ‘Modani’”.
She made it clear that the innocent people of the state are not the ones who believe you after using YSRCP as your favorite state for five years, looted the state’s wealth and now says the destruction has happened.
If Jagan is the culprit in the destruction that took place between 2019-2024, Sharmila alleged then the karma and action are the BJP government. “You cheated by not fulfilling the promises of bifurcation for 10 years and now you are being given Rs 3 lakh crore. Your words that we will bring back the former glory are proof of another fraud”, she added.
Sharmila challenged Amit Shah if he had courage should immediately conduct an investigation by the central investigation agencies on the last five years of YSRCP rule.
