Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president YS Sharmila continues to ruffle his brother and YSR Congress party president YS Jagan’s feathers with her critical remarks. Ever since she entered the political scene in AP earlier this year, Sharmila has been targeting Jagan quite often by making a mockery of his policies and the decisions he undertook as the CM of the state. Whenever she comes before the media, Sharmila launches an offensive to belittle him.
In the latest instance, Sharmila made her criticism more bitter by calling YSR Congress party a ‘Pilla Kaluva’ ( a stream or rivulet in English) during her interaction with the media. Sharmila address a press conference today evening and criticised Jagan’s ambitions to return back to power in 2029. She questioned Jagan over the reasons for having hope that people will vote him back again after five years.
Sharmila asked why should Jagan think of becoming CM again and criticised him that he would only destroy the state further by creating financial crisis in the form of debts and not giving any priority to important projects. She also came down heavily for his fake promises on liquor ban. Sharmila predicted that Jagan would never ever become Chief Minister again in his life.
When asked her opinion if Jagan Mohan Reddy comes forward to join the INDIA bloc in future, Sharmila replied that ‘Pilla Kaluvalu vachi Samudram lo kalavalsinde’ ( all small streams will finally join the ocean at the end). And, she welcomed Jagan into the alliance.
Sharmila continues to torment YS Jagan and his party supporters with her demeaning comments and this is another embarrassment for the YSR Congress party.
