Tollywood actor Ram Charan’s visit to the Kadapa Ameen Peer Dargah while observing the Ayyappa vow has become a subject of controversy. The actor, dressed in traditional attire, participated in prayers at the dargah, which has led to criticism from some Ayyappa devotees.
In response, members of the Shamshabad Ayyappa Swami Society have filed a formal complaint with the police. The complaint, submitted at the Airport Police Station, claims that Ram Charan’s actions have hurt the sentiments of Ayyappa followers. The members are demanding an immediate apology from the actor.
The police have acknowledged the complaint and have reportedly filed a case in connection with the incident.
