Star actress of Telugu, Samantha after a huge gap has come up with the film Shakunthalam and the makers of it released the official theatrical trailer for her ardent fans.
The trailer opens up with the introduction of Sam as an angelic-looking beauty named ‘Shankunthala’ a character from the epic tale of Mahabharatha. Sam was seen in different moods and avatars depicting a never seen look in her entire career. Dev portrayed the character of Dushyantha who loves Sam and this tale is well known among Telugu people. Apart from Sam. The main highlight is the introduction of Stylish star Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha as a kid at the end of the trailer. All in all, the promo appeared super fresh depicting Sam in her most beautiful form. However, the makers used special effects extensively to bring a poetic and fairy to feel throughout the movie. It seems this movie if hits the right chord with the script will be a comeback flick for Samantha post her gap.
Directed by the creative maker Gunasekhar, this movie is bankrolled by Dil Raju under ‘Sri Venkateswara Creations’. He is planning to release this flick as a Pan-Indian film in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam along with its own version of Telugu on the 17th of February this year.
