The Independence Day celebrations in Guntur, led by Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh, were interrupted by a drone incident. The ceremony, held at the Police Parade Grounds, saw Lokesh hoisting the national flag and addressing the district’s residents. However, the event took an unexpected twist when a drone was spotted flying in the vicinity.
Police on site quickly responded to the situation, seizing the drone and detaining the individual responsible. The operator was identified as Nandini, daughter of ASI Srinivas Rao from Palnadu district’s Bollapalli. Nandini, a YouTuber, admitted to using the drone for filming events and acknowledged having done so previously. The drone was confiscated by the authorities due to the lack of proper authorization.
