A significant workshop focusing on media communications was held today at the YSR Congress Party’s central office. The event was attended by the party’s State Coordinator, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, who inaugurated the session and addressed the attendees.
In his address, Sajjala emphasized that since coming to power, YSRCP has made remarkable contributions to public welfare, a feat unmatched by any political party since independence. He underscored the responsibility of party leaders to effectively communicate their achievements to the public.
Sajjala also called for increased awareness of recent political developments and encouraged leaders to stay informed about the actions of the current government. He highlighted the need for the party to build public support with sound arguments and for every member to be prepared to counter negative propaganda against the government.
Reflecting on the party’s success despite media opposition in 2019, Sajjala reminded attendees that YSRCP overcame significant media challenges to emerge victorious. He criticized TDP for relying on strong media support to promote false narratives and urged YSRCP leaders to understand that not all media reports aligned with the opposition are factual, advising them to address and counter such misinformation.
Sajjala concluded by stressing the importance of adapting to changing media landscapes, particularly social media, to connect with the public. He encouraged newly appointed party leaders to effectively present their positions in the face of opposition and various challenges. The workshop aimed to equip leaders with the necessary tools, strategies, and information to navigate these challenges effectively.
