Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is close to the TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna. Most believe that it was the Telugu Desam Party that shaped Revanth’s political career since he came into the legislative assembly initially as a TDP member, and then, having parted with the party, rose up through the ranks in Congress and became Chief Minister. Even though he has a few close connections with Congress, sources close to him confirm he has huge admiration for Chandrababu and Balakrishna.

Recently, Revanth Reddy attended the 24th anniversary of the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital in Hyderabad. He is a trustee in that institution, and Balakrishna is a trustee there. He joked during the event that Balakrishna invited him to come back for the 25th anniversary, even teasingly saying he wanted to attend the 30th anniversary as well. He also said that the cabinet had resolved the lease dispute on the hospital, thus assuring the public that the government would support its operations.

In another exciting development for his fans and the film industry at large, reports state that Balakrishna is on the verge of getting a big offer from the Revanth Reddy government. The Telangana government is said to be readying land for the film studio by Balakrishna. A cabinet meeting is expected this evening, and the proposal would be passed in the house. Official confirmation reveals that the government is taking steps to ensure the acquisition of lands intended to be donated to Balakrishna in a gesture of appreciation for cinematic excellence.
