Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who went to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi was shocked when the Prime Minister gave him a `reverse note’ after his submission of a memorandum on various issues related to the state.

“Your petitions are fine, but what about the pending works and funds with the state regarding central schemes?” Prime Minister Modi asked. PM Modi prepared a special note on the funds related to nine issues pending from the state government and presented that list. He suggested that these be resolved first.

CM Revanth Reddy met Prime Minister Modi in Delhi on Wednesday along with Minister Sridhar Babu. On this occasion, he submitted a memorandum to Modi on the second phase of Metro Rail, sanction of Triple R southern section, Rs. 20,000 crore funds for Musi revival, establishment of semiconductor manufacturing industry and other issues.

After examining all these for a while, the Prime Minister took out a paper from his table and gave it to CM Revanth Reddy. Revanth Reddy was shocked to see it. Modi mentioned issues such as the state government not giving matching grants for projects undertaken with the share of the center and the state, land acquisition, and pending permissions.

It is learned that before asking to resolve the problems at the center, Modi suggested that the problems pending with you be resolved. With this, CM Revanth Reddy promised that he would review the pending projects suggested by the Prime Minister with the officials and take a decision as soon as possible.

Political analysts believe that this is the first time that the Prime Minister has given a reverse note to a Chief Minister who went to submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister. When the CM goes to meet the PM or the Prime Minister visits the state, CMs used to submit memorandums seeking some grants.

But, here, the Prime Minister directly asking a CM to solve their problems on behalf of the Center and issuing a note at once has become a sensation. It is believed that Modi has devised this strategy to thwart attempts by the states to defame the Center by not providing matching grants.
