Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has requested the Union Fertilizers and Chemicals Minister J.P. Nadda to supply the required urea to Telangana on time. He made this request at a meeting held at the official residence of the Union Minister in Delhi on Tuesday.
CM brought to his notice that 5 lakh metric tons of urea was required between April and June for the rainy season, but only 3.07 lakh metric tons were supplied. He asked that there should be no disruption in the supply of urea as water has reached projects in the state and cultivation work is in full swing.
The CM explained that while 63,000 metric tons of domestic urea and 97,000 metric tons of imported urea were to be supplied to the state for the month of July, only 29,000 metric tons have been received so far. Revanth Reddy appealed to increase the quota of domestically produced urea for the state. He deplored that the Railways Department is not allocating adequate rakes for the supply of urea, and he asked that their number be increased.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has requested Union Minister Piyush Goyal to cooperate in the development of Zaheerabad Industrial Smart City. He has requested financial assistance for Warangal Airport and also to sanction the Hyderabad- Bengaluru Aero-Defense Corridor.
CM Revanth Reddy, who is on a visit to Delhi, met Union Minister Piyush Goyal in this regard. They discussed several key issues. In addition, the CM has requested the Union Minister to sanction funds for Warangal Airport as part of the Hyderabad- Warangal Industrial Corridor.
The CM has brought to the attention of the Union Minister that the feasibility study of the Hyderabad- Vijayawada Industrial Corridor is being conducted. The Telangana government has set up a dedicated defense and aerospace park with state-of-the-art infrastructure in Adibatla.
In this context, CM Revanth Reddy has requested Union Minister Goyal to sanction the Hyderabad- Bangalore Industrial Corridor as an aero-defense corridor. The CM has requested the Union Minister to submit proposals for the development of 100 plug-and-play industrial parks that are ready for investment and the Central Government should support them.
